Always the most anticipated event of Festember, ProNite has played host to some of the biggest names of culture, music and dance! From Motherjane to Naresh Iyer to Benny Dayal, ProNite gets everyone into the groove! This year Festember 11 promises more to make you high on music! ;) After having welcomed leading artists such as Ghatam Karthik and Kadri Gopalnath in the previous years the current edition opens its leaves to the showers of Carnatic music with the violin maestros Ganesh and Kumaresh.

Ganesh and Kumaresh are child prodigies who started playing from the tender age of ten .Their efforts in Sastriya Sangitam has taken them across various countries including the US and Canada. Apart from performing, they also score music for films and dance productions. Their music for the movie "Dance like a Man" and "Chandrikai" is widely appreciated.

Some of their musical productions are "Colours of India", "Navarasa" and "Shadjam" among others. Their own musical form Raga Pravaham brings out their grasp of the intricacies and aesthetics of the Raga and Thala - the very essence of Indian music. They have been honored as Asthana Vidwans of the Sri Matam of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. They were the youngest violinists to be recognized by All India Radio as "A-top" ranking artistes.

The Vanguard of Indian Rock, MotherJane need no introduction. The Indian Rock Scene changed forever when 5 young men from Kochi decided to strum some chords. There has been no looking back since! Imbibing elements of Progressive Rock, Alternative Rock and Carnatic melodies, the band is re-defining the notion of rock and is creating its own true sound!

Motherjane was formed in 1996 by drummer John Thomas and bassist Clyde Rozario to "fill in" for another band which had backed out from a college festival at St. Albert's College, Kochi. The band currently consists of Suraj Mani - Vocals, John Thomas –Drums, Clyde Rozario –Bass, Deepu Sasidharan –Guitar, Santosh Chandran –Guitar

The Band has released two studio albums and three singles. Their debut album, Insane Biography included chart-busters such as “Maya” and “Soul Corporations” which had strong Indian musical elements, a trend that continues in all their later efforts. If the first was a trailblazer, the Band hit the jackpot with their second studio album, “Maktub”. Feted as the “Album of the Year” for 2009 by Rolling Stone India, “Maktub” took Indian Rock to the World.

The Band was recently ranked #1 in Rock Street Journal's bands of the decade in 2010. They also won as Most Popular Act of Asia in the 2010 AVIMA Awards. The Band has also opened for Megadeth and Opeth in recent years.

She first caught the public eye with her show on Radio Mirchi. Her high energy, knack for humor, focus on social issues, and tell it all attitude made her wildly popular in no time!

Her immense love for music soon turned her into a noted Playback singer. Shehas crooned for several chart-busters such as 'Uyirin Uyire' in Kaaka Kaaka and Dole Dole in the Tamil blockbuster Pokkiri. The silver screen soon drew her into its mold and she made guest appearances in films such as Jay Jay and Ayutha Ezhuthu. To say that Suresh Peters is a Jack of all Trades would be a gross understatement. Music Director, Composer, Rapper, Play-back singer, vidhwan of the piano, drums, keyboard and harmonium and many others, Suresh is a musical force! Within a short career, he has won hearts across the world, with his crooning melodies and bang-bang masala numbers in four languages!

Having got his big break in the Malayalam hit, 'Punjabi House' with its melodious numbers and folk songs, Suresh soon moved onto new languages and new genres of music. He caught the eye of the madrasis with the peppy number 'Chikku Bukku Rayile' from Gentleman and then cemented his name in gold with back to back hits such as 'Columbus Columbus' from jeans and 'Kannum Kannum' from Anniyan. His most stylish moment with the megaphone was when he immortalized the Superstar in 'Style' from Sivaji!
